"I tested Kyocera's Slider phone for over a month, and the novelty (i.e., feeling like I stepped onto the set of The Matrix every time I used the thing) never wore off…The verdict: If more popular carriers like Sprint and Verizon started adding the (Slider) SE47 to their rosters, they'd fly off the shelves - and I'd be the first in line."

"Kyocera isn't the avarage company. They work hard to make their customers happy by building great, cool, unique phones. I must admit, that I looked at a lot of phones before I made my first choice in a phone. I looked at Siemens, Nokia, LG, Samsung, and millions more. Then I came across a Kyocera 2325. Something that was different, cooler looking, featureful and all out great. When I first got that phone, I knew I would NEVER buy from any one else then Kyocera. Eventually it was time for an upgrade because my 2325 was old, so I looked at a SE47. The second that little phone was placed in my hands, I fell in love. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY SLIDER! Speaker phone, color screen, WOW!!!!! Everyone has a flip phone and now I have a sliding phone. About 6 or 7 of my friends were jealous and got a Slider too! We always have a signal and clear calls, what a phone is supposed to do!"

"This phone is unbelievalble. It works for one and is a rugged phone. I couldn't believe the phone survived going through a warm cotton cycle in my GE HD washing machine. It was in my coat pocket and my wife washed it. I found it in the bottom of the machine when putting clothes in the drier. I wiped off the phone, removed and wipped off battery it had softener on it. Layed the phone in front of a small fan for two days and put the battery back in and nothing happened. Placed the unit in car charger. And walla it works!!!! What a phone. 10/29/2006"

"I have the Slider SE44. I was so ashamed to admit dropping in on several occasions, just thinking I was lucky. Until I read the reviews! It really is the quality of the phone. It is truly a "tuff ol' broad!" I dropped it twice on blacktop. The back cover went one way, battery one direction and the rest of the phone in another...embarrassed as heck, people snickering; I picked up the pieces, just knowing it would do no good to put them back together. However, to save face I did, and then slid it open and called home! It really is a great phone. Trust me I told the laughers each time it was a Slider made by Kyocera and they could get it through Alltel. It has great reception, I cannot say enough about it. Thanks...I love it! And, it is just a cell phone..."

"I have had a lot of phones in the past, including some very expensive ones, but the Kyocera Slider is my favorite. It is compact and light, but is still quite durable. I've had my phone for over 6 months and I travel all over the country with it. If there is a signal to be gotten, the Slider will get it. Some phones I have had in the past have lost screen resolution or have screens that are easily scratched--but not the Kyocera Slider. There is absolutely no better phone for the price. I've never written a review for any phone before now; I just wanted to compliment Kyocera on making a superior product."

"My very first phone was the Kyocera, then I have had Motorola, Sanyo, Samsung and Nokia. I NOW have the Kyocera Slider SE44. I love this phone. All the other phones would not receive signal in the place where I reside. With the SE44, I put under my pillow if I'm sleeping or putting the baby to sleep and STILL get phone calls and text messages. THANKS KYOCERA."

"After having a very maddening experience with a Motorola T720 and an LG5450 camera phone, the Slider was recommended by Alltel's tech dept. I am simply amazed at how well this little phone performs in "fringe" rural areas. It hands down beats the pants off the Moto. and the LG!!! I have been commuting to this area (East. "I've had the Kyocera Slider for over 7 months now, at first I thought it was fragile. After several drops (unintentionally), it has proven to be very durable and stronger than I ever thought. I'm devoted now to Kyocera and I recommended it to every one who asks me about it, since everyone thinks the phone is as fragile as I thought it was at first. I have to add that the battery life is the best I've seen in all my years using cell phones and the quality of the applications is unmatchable!! "I would like to express my gratitude and admiration for your product, the Kyocera Slider. Never in my wildest thoughts did I ever imagine how durable this phone is. I've dropped it, thrown it, let it freeze (all by accident, mind you) yet every time it worked perfectly afterwards. Just when I thought I had done the worst, I flushed it down the toilet. I retrieved my phone and thought I had finally killed it, but I dried it off overnight and placed the battery back in and to my absolute shock and amazement it lit up again! Not only that, but I see no visible water damage to the screen and am happy and proud to report that my Slider is acting like nothing ever happened to it! I am absolutely floored by the quality of your products. I just thought you should know that you have found yourself a devoted consumer who will not only remain faithful to Kyocera but also suggest your products to others."

"I just want to say how impressed I am with Kyocera. The quality of your phones is so great. I have had many Kyocera phones and they are all still working today. Currently I have a Virgin Mobile Slider V5 MTV Edition and it works like a charm. I am amazed at Kyocera. How did you come up with the idea for a phone that slides? Sure any company can make a flip phone, but who would of thought of a phone that slides! And hey, it's the coolest phone I have ever seen in my life. In the future, I think you should think about making another Slider Series phone that has a camera in it. That would make my Slider perfect! But, I love it even without a camera. A long time ago I use to have a Nokia. Never once did I get a compliment on it. But when I bought my slider I still am getting a compliment every day! The commercials are right, you get a Slider, and you're NOT A DORK!
